So just when you were told by Microsoft that Windows 10 would be the last version of Windows, guess what?
Windows 11 comes along.
What’s more, within 4 years Windows 10 will be phased out and end of life support is now stated as October 2025. Read more on this here.
However for your MI, you needn’t worry. EiB has been testing Windows 11 now for months through all pre betas rigorously and all our demonstrations are now based on the released version of Windows 11 64 Bit Professional.
We are now formally announcing support for Windows 11 starting at EiB release 21.0.0.100
For those of you who have upgraded recently you can probably run it now (latest build of EiB Analytics today is 21.0.0.117).
How do you know if you are ready?
As in the screenshot above, simply goto your EiB Analytics ribbon, select Help > Help About and check your version.
However it is not just our EiB Software that runs on Windows 11. We have tested our totally integrated Power BI models for Finance on Windows 11 and these are also fully supported.
