Financial Intelligence Modules

A La Carte Financial Intelligence is available as a complete suite of the following modules.






Financial Reporting Module

  • Provide multiple forms of P&L (e.g Management, Statutory or Bank), Balance Sheet and Trial Balance analysis for comprehensive Cost Centre and/or Departmental comparisons.

  • Analyse your business over the last 5 years, by annual, quarterly or monthly comparisons.

  • Fully investigate Actual v Budget comparisons and comprehensively audit your data, by drilling back to the underlying transactions in your accounting system behind any number.




Cross Company Reporting Module

  • Report by each of your companies with ease.

  • Compare and contrast across all or selected companies in a single report.

  • Consolidate your companies how you need to. Create hierarchic and intermediate consolidations not available in your accounting system e.g Regions, Manager Groupings etc.





Dashboarding Module

  • Fully dynamic data visualisation. Allow the user to control interactive dashboards from multiple data sources.

  • Charts designed and inspired by leading industry visualisation experts with additional charts not available from standard Excel.

  • Dashboards are native to Excel so can be opened without needing A La Carte installed.




SQL Reporting Module

  • For non Financial information in your accounting system e.g Product and Customer analyses or from other external SQL applications in your organisation.

  • Connect directly to your accounting systems tables or views to create interactive reports such as Aged Creditors and Aged Debtors.

  • Create fully interactive, dynamic reports from SQL tables and SQL views of data created by you and/or 3rd Parties, in Excel.




Report Distribution Module

  • Fully automate distributions of monthly report packs to your managers, by removing the need to manually create reports and subsequent emails.

  • Email, save or print all of your report packs at a touch of a button. Send via email or cloud storage services e.g OneDrive or Google Docs.

  • Create offline reports for users without connection to your A La Carte server, whilst maintaining report drilldown features.




Budgeting and Forecasting Module

  • Full actual v budget v forecast consolidation, reporting and dashboarding.

  • Report from budgets stored in your accounting application, or loaded directly.

  • Add any number of additional budgets and forecast versions through simple Excel importation features.





Multi Currency Module

  • Convert sections of your P&L and Balance Sheets at different exchange rates e.g Period End, Average, YTD Average.

  • Consolidate and report multiple companies with different base currencies to a common reporting currency.

  • Have full control and input of all exchange rates required by period.

How it works

A custom connector is created to read the required data from your accounting system by the A La Carte system.

This data is then stored in a secure, robust enterprise datamart using Microsoft's SQL Server Analysis Services.

End users then access this data through the A La Carte Excel add-in to run powerful, interactive reports and dashboards which are intuitive to use and easy to create.
